Mount propane tank

The tank has openings in the handle or frame around the valve. These openings should slip over a mounting bracket on the grill frame under the control knob platform. You may have to loosen a thumb screw to loosen a retaining piece that helps secure the tank on the mounting bracket.

Just aquired a 1972 CB350 Honda, It has been sitting for years and I need to pull tank to clean it out. I know it just is rubber mounted and once rear is lifted, front slides to the back and tank comes...

Usually, the front seat bracket has a bolt in it that when removed will allow the bracket to come off then allowing the tank and ruber mounting to also lift off and slide back. don't forget to turn the tank to off position and remove hose from carberator first!

To install:

I need to remove the fuel filterbut dont know how

Underneath the truck, just in front the gas tank, there is a hose coming from the tank.
Mounted to the frame with a "strap" type bracket,
is your fuel filter. When replacing this you must be certain to orient the new filter with the arrow pointing toward the front of the truck or away from the tank.

Gas tank straps rusted & broke and need to replace. How do you get to the mounting brackets?

Strap mounts are right at the strap ends why can't you find them?
I use chimney strapping (get from most hardware stores) to make new ones. Paint them with undercoating spray to keep from rusting out.
