I have a ceramic top slide in range. The clock will light up when the clock button is pressed but will not stay lit. Timer works and all oven controls work as well as the cook top and oven. Any suggestions?

locate service manul / wiring diagram comees with all usually convenietly located taped to back inside pannel. shut off breaker , or slide out an unplug, read, manul if present plug back in fallow the set up steps,an trouble shoting. press,bake, set temp,and press start press timer,set timer ,and,press start again.should do it,.if not check for loose wire on oven senser.possible touch pad replacement. worst case. good luck

The electronic timer/clock must be working and be in manual mode for the oven to work. Try turning the power off and on and see if it resets. If is doesn't you might need a new timer unit. If you don't need the timer and clock it can be easily by-passed at the rear by joining the active and load wires and the oven will work.

Turn the oven control on. Now play with the buttons on the electronic timer/clock. Try all different combinations. Trying pressing them at the same time. This may take 5 minutes or more. If the timer is not faulty this will work, be patient. When the oven indicator light comes on the oven is on and the timer is now in manual mode.

It sounds like you are setting a cooking time instead of setting the time of day. The oven wont work until a time of day is set. press the centre button (4x)until a red light flashes in the bottom right corner of the clock if you miss it keep pressing until you cycle through to the rh corner(note clock symbal) press + or - until you get to the right time leave for 12 secs then time locks in and your oven will work. the other flashing lites top left= cooking time bottom left =end time top right =timer function with no oven control. If this does not solve it the timer is faulty and requires replacing. good luck.

Did someone bump the self-cleaning lock lever? If you have one, make sure it is all the way over to the right. Try resetting the unit by tripping the breaker. Leave it off for 30 secs min and turn it back on. See if that works. If not, let us know and we'll help you further.

Same thing happened to our Kenmore range and I found a solution on the web about fixing this problem on a fridgedaire range. It was to hold down the clock button for an extended time ~15 sec. It worked for our kenmore and hopefully for yours too.

My range doesn’t allow me to set the time, when I enter the current time it flashes and then defaults to 2:22.

I HAVE TRICITY SOVEREIGN4638 COOKER. I NEED TO REPLACE SPRINGS ON TOP OVEN DOOR, HELP. ALSO NEED TO REPLACE LIGHT TUBE ON FRONT PANEL.
PERSON WITH SETTING CLOCK, HOLD ALL BOTTOM ROW OF BUTTONS AND TURN TIMER KNOB ON RIGHT. PLEASE ADVISE
