KOHLER SMOKES STARTS UP ONLY HOT OR COLD,NO SMOKE WHEN RUNING

What is the problem if i start my car if its cold and it smokes blue white smoke but if engin is hot it stops smoking but valve tem seals have been done and there is no play on pistons

Check carby is not to rich,"mixture screw" check for fuel blockage on fuel tap.

issue with the thermostat maybe, not allowing engine to start.

change your MAP sensor and clean the IAC valve

Possibly a head gasket problem (as the head heats up it warps slightly, allowing coolant to seep into the cylinders, which is the source of the white smoke--steam) Is the motor using coolant?

White Smoke out the exhaust, is usually a sign
of coolant & most likely the start of a bad head gasket

At this point your use of the car should be curtailed,
to prevent any further damage

You should not use the car at all, until all issues are
diagnosed & resolved

Plan on using other means of transportation

Itt's possible that you could have one or two injectors leaking, Start by removing you spark plugs and see if thier with gas

SOUNDS LIKE THE HEAD GASKET.

This model is known for shearing the flywheel key.

This problem sounds like you may not be getting fuel. This tractor may have a fuel shut of solenoid in the carb float bowl. if this is the case... after then engine warms up and the solenoid gets hot it may have a open in the coil and will not open the needle valve in the carb until it cools off. Easy way to check this is when it does not start for you turn the ign key on to run and then back off you should here a clicking sound if the solenoid is working. If you dont hear a clicking sound the solenoid is probably bad... you can prove this by waiting for it to cool off and trying the same thing if you hear the solenoid valve actuating then the solenoid is bad
