It is very hard to say where the leak is coming from. If you can open the case of the machine a physically notice where the water is leaking from then we can tell you if you can repair it yourself or if you will have to find a service center.

SOURCE: gaggia syncrony compact leaking water where

If you remove the tank, does it leak? If yes then check the spring loaded valve under the tank, also check the O-ring for damage.

SOURCE: No power to Gaggia Syncrony Logic

Re the Gaggia no power problem, the machine does have a re set button, 2 in fact the boiler unit must be removed and the two reset switches are between the sender units (brown in colour).
After disconecting the power source open the machine (top off)The three alan head screws that retain the boiler (front of the machine) unit must be removed it can be lifted clear to gain access to the bottom of the unit where the reset buttons are.
This will save hundreds of dollars in shipping and service fees.
DIY takes about 10-20 min well worth it.
Take care when doing this opperation 240 volts can kill.

Problem: No water flow; Solution: Unclog a small orifice in the flow meter

My 5 year-old Syncrony Logic stopped working for the first time today. The water would not flow, not through the steamer, not through the brew group. I had previously thoroughly cleaned the brew group screens, steamer wand, water dispenser filter, etc. Still no water flow. I could hear the pump working but no flow.

I only use distilled water in the unit, so I've never had a scale problem (distilled water has no minerals, thus nothing to create scale). After downloading a parts schematic from here, I dug into the case. By the way, I suggest you don't proceed unless you have at least some mechanical ability and are not afraid to break something in the process. Be sure to unplug from the wall first, unless you really like electricity A LOT.

After removing the drip tray, grinds bin, water tub, and coffee hopper, I removed the gray top. To do this: from the top remove 2 screws under the water tub, 2 screw under the coffee hopper. And from below the control panel: 4 screws from the under-side along the front and behind the brew group cover. Once the screws are out lift the cover at the back and pivot off the front.

2 things are attached to this cover: the power switch and water hose. The power switch easily slides off the top cover. The water hose runs from the water dispenser fitting and into a little white gizmo with another hose running out of it and into the pump. The little gizmo is a flow meter that ensures water is flowing. Remove the hose from the tank and flow meter in order to clean it.

The top of this flow meter easily comes off by slightly twisting the top counter-clockwise about 10 degrees, lining up 3 tabs with slots and lifting it off. Its a little snug coming off due to an o-ring seal. You'll see the little turbine wheel inside. In the top is the input and output ports in the flow meter turbine chamber.

The input opening into the flow meter turbine is TINY. It was clogged with a bit of gooey fluff. I poked it out with a small pipe-cleaner, then made sure the hose from the tank was clean, and the opening into the turbine was gunk-free.

After I put it all back together it ran like a champ again. I love this espresso maker. First problem in 5 years of flawless operation.

We have a Gaggia Syncrony Logic that is just over two years old. After each brew cycle, the puck is successfully ejected but water and some grounds flow out under the drip tray instead of into it....

Hi
Check the drain behind the brew unit. There is a pocket below the injector that can plug up and cause water to drain under the drip tray. Check this first. Stick you finger in the pocket and see if there is water in it. If there is, the drain below and to the right is plugged and just needs to be cleaned.

Hi, Our Gaggia machine will not disburse water through coffee dispenser. Sounds like its operating normally till water flow should happen. Then the motor slows down to nothing. Have descaled to no effect....

Try this press the button for ground coffee then when it lights up press the coffee brew button, if water flows normally then the grind on the grinder needs to be adjusted coarser, if no water then the screen on the brew unit is blocked.
