Re: no power on the control panel quiet series 300
Do any of the lights on the touch panel light up? if the answer is yes then you need a touch panel. if no light light up you might have a control board issue or a blown thermal fuse.

I had no lights on my control panel, eventhough power was good. I replaced the control panel ($265 part), it worked for 2 weeks, then I now have the same problem. Frustrated, I am probably going to buy new from a different manufacturer. Whirlpool/maytag does not warranty electronic parts if you do it yourself.
I had the same issue try hitting delay 1hr and start the 1hr was solid not flashing and an hr later it's running just fine. Think I need a new control panel but for now this is working.

We have a Maytag Bravo Quiet Series 300 washing machine, the door latch is broken. I have the replacement part ( the locking mechanism) but I need can not figure out how to get the top of the washer to flip up to give me access to top front of the machine to remove the old part and replace it with the new.
How do I flip back the top (not the door) of this machine?
The electronic control panel has gotten wet and needs to be replaced (about $200 for parts plus about $200 for service call/labor) I just had mine replaced about 10 month ago, stopped using the type of dishwasher soap I had based on Maytag Service staff recommendation, stopped using hot wash to prevent high condensation at the door and now its broken again and in need of a new control panel again. You may be money ahead to go buy a new dishwasher that does not have the plastic encased control panel at the top. My understanding is the control panels are poorly engineered and made for most dishwasher manufactures by one of the mega electronic/appliance companies.
While I am not directly aware of the controls on the dishwasher I'd unplug it for a minute or two to see if the control reboots (for lack of a better term) I've seen many electroic devices that on occasion have this type of problem and simply taking the power from it may correct it.
I hope this helps,
Tom
A water softner will not make the dishes any cleaner, it just makes it so they don't have water spots on them. If the dishes are dirty, it is most likely that the nozzles (holes) in arms may be plugged. Also check to make sure you are getting plenty of water to dishwasher. Make sure all water valves are full turned open.
If the control panel does not work all the time, it is very likely you have either a shorted wire, or a fualty main board which is very common in newer machines.
