How to add external rca jacks to the output

To connect your audio receiver to your Proview 3200 flat screen TV, you can use RCA cables. Here are the steps:

Locate the RCA jacks on your TV and audio receiver. One jack is white, and the other is red.
Plug the white RCA cable into the white jack on the TV and the red RCA cable into the red jack. Reversing them will cause the stereo signal from the TV to be incorrect.
Take the other end of the RCA cables and plug the white and red ends into an available RCA input on the back of your audio receiver.
If your TV doesn't have RCA jacks, you can use a digital-to-analog audio converter to connect your TV to a 5.1 audio system that has only RCA inputs 1. You can follow these steps:

Unbox the digital-to-analog converter.
Connect the optical cable to the converter.
Connect the RCA cable to the converter.
Connect the other end of the RCA cable to an available corresponding analog audio input on your audio receiver

I have a Vizio model E320-B1. Does it have a head phone jack? I’ve looked all around and can’t find one.

Modern TV sets, including the Vizio models, don't have any headphone jacks. The only audio outputs are the red and white RCA jacks, and the special optical port (used for the sound bar). I recommend buying a cable set that has the red and white RCA plugs on one end and a headphone jack on the other end. You can ask Best Buy or any audio store for it.

After you attach the plugs and can hear the audio through the headphone, you must enter the "Menu" and disconnect the on-board speakers if you wish to listen only on the headphone. Read the user manual to do this.

How to hook up a vizio sound bar to a auria tv

Read the user guide that comes with the sound bar. The bar has an optical link and RCA input jacks. The Auria TV should have RCA output jacks, so get a paired cable set with red and white RCA plugs on both ends. The input button on the sound bar will select the connected input when pressed.

NEED INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOOKING UP WIRELESS HEADPHONES FOR VIZIO TV

From the manual:

1. Plug the stereo audio cable into the headphone jack of your audio
source (e.g., stereo, TV, CD player, DVD, etc.). If your audio source
has two RCA output jacks instead of a headphone jack, use the
supplied Y cable to connect your headphones to the two (red and
white) RCA jacks.
2. Connect the other end of the stereo audio cable to the AUDIO IN
socket at the back of the recharging cradle/transmitter.
3. Connect the AC/DC main power adapter to the DC IN power
supply socket at the back of the recharging cradle/transmitter. Then,
connect the adapter to an electrical outlet.
Important: This power unit is intended to be correctly oriented in a
vertical or floor mount position.

Coaxial hookup broke off. Can i use an s cable through vcr? need instructions.

If your Sharp television has RCA jacks, you may use them through your VCR. Your VCR would have to have a tuner and then you may use this as a means for getting a signal. Newer VCRs and DVD players generally do not have a tuner. Thanks for asking!

Bought an hdmi to dvi cable. Now I have no sound. I'm not. Sure what audio cable I need. I have an idea of what it should look like but no one has anything close to it.

The audio cable will depend on the source and the TV. If you are using a computer as the source, you probably need a 3.5 mm male/male end stereo audio cable (like for computer speakers that aren't directly wired). Plug this in to the computer's speaker (out) jack and the TV's audio in (not the headphone jack on the TV). The other possible cable would be an RCA audio cable with two colored jacks on each end of the cable. For a computer to a TV that doesn't have a 3.5 male audio in jack, you may need an audio cable with the 3.5 mm jack on one end and the pair of RCA jacks on the other.

I hope this helps.

I bought a connector that you would use for an ipod but, I still have no sound. On the back of my Vizio TV...where the RGB cable is hooked up, there is a small headphone size jack there. Is that the one...

Clarifying...

You are trying to play audio from the TV through your computer?

You need an adapter cable that has an 1/8" stereo phone plug on one end, and two RCA male jacks on the other end.

The RCA connectors are to be plugged into your RV using the AUDIO OUT jacks (usually red/white) and the small plug goes into the auxiliary or line in jack on the back of your computer.

Then, Double-Click on the volume icon in the system tray (this should bring up the system mixer), unmute the line in sound if it is not already and run the "slider" control for that input up about half way.

then, Tune the TV to whatever channel or input you wish and adjust the volume level on your computer to a comfortable listening level.

Rob

ps. Some TVs don't use fixed level audio outputs, and the volume will vary as you run the volume up/down on the TV, too...
