I'm a bit concerned you want to know how to carry out such a task when you don't have the knowledge or experience on such a safety critical item?
If you are not experienced enough then you need local help. The system requires a specific sequence of events to be satisfactory and firstly you need to get a workshop manual to assist you. If you are competent with tools and can follow instructions from a manual then carry on. If not then seek help.
My first question would be; Why do you need to bleed the brakes? Are you just renewing the pads, then just lever them back while keeping an eye on the fluid level in the master cylinder, clean the caliper area's where the pads seat, they must be free to move. Fit the antirattle pieces etc, pump the brake pedal to re-seat the new pads, check the hubs turn freely and you're good to go. There is no reason to release any fluid when changing pads/shoes.
If the brake pedal is soft after a thorough check / clean / adjust of the brake system then seek specific help. Your life is in your hands!

Hydraulic system pressure too low. Brake system needs one or more of the following issues resolved.

2. Master Cylinder failure
3. One or more of the wheel cylinders have failed
4. Leak in hydraulic systems (assumes constanlty need to add fluid)

Ford f150 lariet - 2000 - change back disc brakes and pads. Have tried bleeding system with vehicle running and off. When it was off and started the brakes pedal goes soft and to the floor. Have tried...

IF the hand brake activates through the caliper piston unit and it was necessary to screw the piston back in to fit the new pads then you will have to readjust the hand brake .. The may be a bleed nipple on the abs unit . It is not necessary to run the engine to bleed the brakes. IF you used a clamp to push the piston back in then there may be crap in the master cylinder that is affecting the operation of the non-return valve at the outlet of the master-cylinder.

03 F150 spongey brakes after replaceing brake cylender and bleeding brakes?

This sounds like a bad brake line, these trucks are famous for rotted lines behind gas tank, make sure there are no leaks, this sounds like a leak or a defective master cylinder, if this is the same problem then i would say it is a line also check the rear brakes for leaking wheel cylinders unless you have rear disc brakes, check calipers for leaks.

Take a good look at brake system for leaks, hold brake pedal a few times and let is sink to floor , do it about ten times and then look for a leak, good day

My husband was changing the front brakes on the 2003 F150 and broke the brake line. Will it be difficult to fix?

NO. The line will have to be replaced & the system bled to remove air. Parts are readily available locally at your parts stores like Autozone & PepBoys.

It is best to use 2 people to bleed the brakes after the repair so you both may need to be on talking terms.

good luck

Trying to bleed abs brakes on my 1997 ford f150

Bleed your brakes by filling the master cylinder, then bleed at the wheels in the following order: right rear, left rear, right front and left front, ensure the master stays full and then test to ensure all air is out
