You call Sharp Service. There is no way you could fix the problem even if you were told what the codes mean.
You can find that out when the Technician calls to fix it and give you a either a "guesstimate" or a formal written quotation. Either way you will either have to pay a call-out fee, or if you transport it to them, an inspection and quote preparation fee.

CH steady means cover is open. Close either front or right cover well.
CH blinking means developer unit or toner cartridge not installed. Remove and return well and firmly.

The L6 code means trouble with the laser unit ( polygon motor), it has to be replaced. The laser unit is under the exit tray. Hope this helps.

The F2-04 error code you are getting is that you are using the wrong toner.It may be form sharp,but it toner chips is different.Only the chips swapping at the toner back can help you.

This means that the cartridge's sensor is miscommunicating with the copier memory thus the code U2 -40. You should clean the inner sensor connector and the toner sensor of the spilled toner by low blower. Perform this code ;# , interrupt , C, Interrupt keys in that order and press 16 then Print key and the code will be cleared.
