My Fishfinder 300C suddeny does not detect the depht anymore, all oher function are still working, please help!

Hello
First do this. From the Home screen, Seelct Full Screen > Menu > range. Use ROCKER to set the depth scale, and see whether the depth is displayed or not. If not check the transducer for fault. Check for voltage goint to it.
Use a test light or voltmeter to determine the polarity of the voltage source.
Connect the red (+ or positive) wire to the positive voltage terminal.

If you use the fuse block on the boat, route the positive connection
through the fuse
Connect the black (- or ground) wire to the negative voltage terminal.
Install or check the 3A fuse (on the fuse block or in the in-line holder).

Align the notches on the cable plug and on the back of the Fishfinder 300C. Insert the cable into the connector, and turn the locking ring
counter-clockwise until it stops.
If htese all are correct and voltage is there at the tranducer end, the tranducer is faulty, and should be replaced. OK

My side by side makes a loud humming noise from the freezer when the frig is running can you help solve this promblem or do i need to buy a different brand to solve this promblem for the second time

most likely it is the evaporator fan motor.you can replace it but know telling how long the new part will last.not very expensive part but very easy to replace.once you take the back panel off in freezer you will look above the coils and you will see your fan motor.

Furuno sounder trandecer problems

the leading edge of the ducer should be higher than the aft portion. The leading edge must not be below the bottom of the transom. To determine if it is turbulence or radiated interference, put the boat in neutral and run motor up in RPM, if it fails then, with boat stationary, then proximity to motor is a problem and you should buy and in-hull ducer. glueing the transom ducer may or may not work well.
