Tracfone screen says "charge complete", phone won't turn on.

I have a W376g Tracfone that I left charging for a couple of hours, and now it won't turn back on. The screen says "charge complete". None of the buttons do anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I took the battery out and put it back in. Now everything seems kosher.

How do I stop the battery from draining after only a few hours.

try letting the battery completely die and recharge it. Do this 2 or 3 times. Sometimes "topping up" a partially charged battery puts a memory into the battery and it wont allow you to do full charge.. I let my Nokia get to its last legs before replacing the battery with a spare and then fully charge the other one. Both batteries are now at least 6 years old.. Yes , its an old phone...

Why won't my screen come back on after I charged it to complete?

Its a trouble a firmware/android issue. Try charging it with an adapter that doesnt have a plugable cable USB/micro usb that gets in in the adapter, but with an adapter that ghas micro usb directly.
Have the same issue with my last phone and this fixed it. Next time charge your phone before its flat/completely empty

Motorola cellular w376g, battery won't charge

If possible test with another charger like a car charger if you have one
also try removing the battery plug in the charger and put the battery back in (don't touch the contacts/gold pins)

if it works with other chargers then the charger is bad

if it doesn't work with other chargers charging port/battery/phone is bad

My phone won't turn on.

Happened to Me Too , all you gotta do is like charge it for literally a day , and maybe a night ; in other words let it charge for a really long time NOT just 3-4 hours .

Charging problem

It will.. it just is slow. Just leave it plugged in for about 12 hours and it will eventually say that it is fully charged..
