Hotpoint Aquarius wm61 trips as soon as its filled with water,if I remove alot of the water it will allow me to spin

If you mean that the machine is tripping the circuit breaker then that is an indication that the water is creating an electrical current path to Earth. The heating element is normally enclosed in a metal sheath but if this is compromised then water will get in and current will then leak to earth, causing the circuit breaker to trip. The heating element can be replaced, but the cause of the damage to the element should also be determined to prevent it happening again. The rotating drum can become partially detached from it's mount and end up hitting the heating element when spinning, causing the element to be damaged. The drum mount (often called a SPIDER) may therefore also need replacing. If you machine was making a lot of knocking noises when in spin cycle then it would certainly indicate a broken mount.

Hi rosie_s234 from retired Englishman in SW France,

Methinks you could do with a manual- for now and later!
Now- unfortunately FixYa cannot provide manuals direct - members of the forum are just people from all over the world, probably working from home, and not representing any particular manufacturer ;-0)

Manual
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make model number) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount.
You could also try the manufacturer's web site direct ;-0)

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Hi. The door seal is split on my Hotpoint Aquarius 900 WM61. Could you please advise as how to change it,or is there an on-line giude you could refer me to? Thanks!

For most front-loaders:
Lubricate the slot which fits over the tub with washing-up fluid. Starting at the top, press the seal so the flange of the tub enters the slot on the seal. Work your way round the using thumbs to force the slot on the tub flange. When slot is on the flange all way round, fit the spring which holds it on. The spring goes into a slot on the outside of the seal. This is quite difficult and you may need another pair of hands. Fit the outside of the seal to the cabinet - this is easy and fit the plastic clamping ring.
Test for leaks before using. Use rinse to test as the water level is higher.
(There is no glue anywhere, only clamps, etc)

Pl rate me nice for the free help!

Can hotpoint aqaurius 900 WM61 operate from cold water supply only

Hi.
Yes it can.
You to purchase an adaptor called a "Y "piece for the washer..
B&Q sell them, they are easy enough to get hold of.
Fasten the straight end of the adaptor on to the cold inlet valve..
Then fasten the 2 inlet hoses to the other 2 connections, and the 2 hoses as normal to the washer,,
Then whatever prog you select, it will draw \in cold water.
All new washers are now cold fill only, so you will be right up to date..
This will solve your problem.

Hi I own a Hotpoint WM61 machine and water is leaking out of the soap dispenser. Can this be fixed? What part do I need?

The pump filter probably requires cleaning.
Remove lower panel of washer.
Remove large black on bottom of drum.
Removw and clean filter inside hose.
Remove hose onto pump.
Check for blockage or obstruction here and in the pump.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.
