The problem you are having is most likely a defective=> WR55X10473 Main Control Board. The defective WR55X10473 Main Control Board may have been caused by a defective=> WR60X10185 Evaporator Fan Motor. If your motor has a white thermistor in the connector you need the related fan motor WR60X10074. If it has a connector for a light you will need a=> WR23X10467 Fan Motor Reason I am telling you this is because if the fan is defective it can again damage the Main Control Board. The same wiring diagram is found=> HERE or HERE by clicking on the wiring diagram. Listen to this video because it explains what I am trying to say. GE Refrigerator Fan Motor Diagnostics If you would like I can walk you through the diagnostic's to see what is going on. I am here should you have questions, Thanks John Tripp Appliance 911

SOURCE: Electrical wiring help for an Evap Fan Assembly P/N 12442204

Heya,
Normally the fan motors are 12v. That means they are not polarity sensitive. You would have to green wires- your earth, then you would have a red and white your active in and active out, as normally these are wired in series. I could be wrong but I have done thousand of 12v evap fan motors and have never has a problem, the clips how ever I cant help with.
Btw make sure the fan motor is not 120v/240v before wiring, if it is get a licensed electrician to do it

Hope this helps any other problems please let me know

SOURCE: Freezer fan noise

Remove the freezer panel to access the fan motor. Look for any obstruction around the fan or blade. Ice, misplaced wire etc.
Check the fan blade. Sometimes they slip down the shaft too far.
If you find none of these issues, replace the fan motor.

AMANA SIDE BY SIDE, INOP, FREEZER COILS ICE, FAN INOP IN FREEZER. REPLACED THERMOSTAT, DEFROST TIMER AND FAN, STILL INOP. HEATER WORKS AND HAS 32 OHMS.

Check the BLUE wire from the temp control to the ORANGE wire of the defrost timer for continuity. That is the complete fan circuit. You should read the resistance of the Evap fan motor. If you do not read resistance suspect the pins of the evap fan motor connector or... the Unbilical harness from near the evap to the icemaker and the evap fan. The connector pins of the Evap fan motor connector (Freezer connector) are notorious for failing.

Condenser coil fan not runningon GE pds22scrrss

The fan can rotates freely even if there's no power to it(fan probably burn out). You can check if power is going to the fan motor by folowing the two wires fron the motor picking up power from the compresor connections under a black plastic cover on the side of the compresor. If you nave power going to the fan its needs to be replaced.

GE GSS201EMDCC Fridge and freezer not cooling.

there is probaly a "clixon" in the unit that senses the temp of the evap. if the evap does not get down to a certin temp the fan will not run. this makes it so you do not have ice crystals all over the freezer. matters on model. also sounds like the fridge might be short on gas.
