Tv was working fine then the right one third went blank. It will occassionally come back on but doesnt last. Is this a lamp or connection problem? How do i fix either?

Heard back from Toshiba. They said to unplug the TV, wait at least 3 minutes, and then plug it back in. This should allow it to reset itself. Sounded too simple, but after doing just that the tv has worked fine for the last three days! Toshiba noted that if this didn't resolve the problem we should contact them to have a Toshiba Authorized service person come check out the tv. It worked for us, hopefully it'll work for you too. Good Luck

Check your power cable. Unplug it from both ends and plug it back in
If you are using a hdmi cable take it off and switch to component cables if the problem goes away keep it that way. Sometimes the hdmi hookups have bugs like this.
