SOURCE: howdo I change and install the new blades on my

My experience of Dewalt planers is that they have unusually got a setting device with them and the instructions will be in the manual and sometimes even on the machine itself.
Otherwise I think Dewalt are usually very helpful if you have a problem.

SOURCE: My 13" DEwalt Planer feed is slipping and leaving

Hello Ken,
The black marks you are seeing are most likely from the rollers that feed the material threw the planner. The marks are left on the board when the board stops but the feed rollers are still spinning. This occurs when the feed table is stickey with items such as pitch. I would clean off the table completly and wax it ( or some type of lube).
Another cause could be the matrial that you are using, if the stock is real rough it will not slide as easy as a smooth board.
I hope this helps.

Shop Dog.

P.S. after waxing or lubing the table run a scrap piece first to wipe off any excess.

SOURCE: i need a copy of the owner's manual for Dewalt's Dw733 power planer...please

Check the planer product label on your DW733. DeWalt has two DW733 (type 1 and type 2) models. The manuals for the DW733 is available on the product page: http://www.dewalt.com/tools-discontinued/machinery-portable-thickness-planers-dw733.aspx . See the drop-down list of documentation on the right side of the page. You'll see a pop-up page with more documentation available on the right side of the page. Scroll down to the Instruction Manual.

I hope this helps.

SOURCE: planer does not cut evenly across the table

having spent many houres trying to adjust the 4 levling screws on each side of the outfeed table, which do nothing,i desided to take the table apart when i folded open the outfeed table to reveal 4 nuts, as i removed one of the nuts i noticed that the bracket that holds the top on is ever so slightly elongated i loosened the other 3 nuts, and gently taped it level with a block of wood having checked it in the closed position i locked up all 4 nuts and readjusted the blades, now you can wind down the levling screws till they bottom out and lock them up this keeps it where you set it planer works like a dream now glad i stuck at it .the reason it was knocked out of whack in the first place was by people moveing it around by grabbing the table ends i have added a bracket to mine to prevent this happening again.thanks fixya for all your help.pat

My dewalt dw735 planer will not turn on

https://www.dewalt.com/products/power-tools/routers-planers-and-joiners/planers-and-joiners/13-in-three-knife-two-speed-thickness-planer/dw735
You have to register to read the information (BAD, Dewalt. Bad dog.)

In general>
Check outlet, try another AC outlet.
Check power cord end to end for damage. Do you have a non-contact AC indicator? (You should) Are you getting AC to the machine?
Check built in fuse or breaker on the tool.
Check the switch, does it feel and sound like it is switching correctly? Or is something different?

DeWalt 12 1/2 inch thickness planer 2012 15-ct 160357. The motor was changing speeds with no load and finally simply stopped. Does it need new brushes or possibly the reset switch is faulty.

IF THE UNIT DOES NOT RUN, CHECK TO SEE:
• if the unit is plugged in.
• if the dust shroud is properly in place.
• if the top cover is properly in place.
• if the circuit breaker needs to be reset
I would replace both brushes and ckt breaker.

My dewalt dw735 planer just stopped working. There is power to the motor and I tried new brushes but still won't turn on. What should I look at next? Thanks Paul

LOOK TO YOUR connections on the electric field as second thing to do. both statorcoils must have the same level on ohms .
BUT it can be remarkable that you then if its not to find in there thats only a broken wire - cable problem or something with or inside the switch. or just an sliding contact.

Need delta planer manual

It's easier to find parts and manuals with model numbers. On the Dewalt service website (http://servicenet.dewalt.com) they show your motor number is substituted with part number A00903. If you do a parts search on that motor you will see it fits four different Delta planers, all but one has a manual listed under downloads. Find the model closest to your planer.

Which part need to be changed in dewalt 680k planer to make it work with 240v insted of 110v, we do not wont to get a step down transformes thanks

Some of the more expensive motors have a jumper setup within the motor housing where the cord enters the motor. If it is possible to re jumper for 240v it will give a diagram on the cover plate where the wire enters the motor usually. If this doesn't work you might contact dewalt. You might have to change the whole motor.
