Imicro IM25COM-BK is an external Hard Drive for USB 2.0.
1. Did you install the Driver which came with your Drive?
2. Are you sure it is connected to an USB 2.0 port? Some computers come with USB 1.1 !

the mouse has an of on button and a battery has to go inside it. then the adapter has to be inserted into the USB slot. the system will give a message once it recognizes the mouse. you are good to go
First unplug USB, You can try restarting your pc, power on the external hard drive, then
plug it into the PC, windows should see it, if not try below.
If you computer or laptop has USB 2.0 or 3.0 ports you do not need a driver, it in windows.
Try this- Right click on my computer
Choose MANAGE
Then find DISK MANAGEMENT
You should see your ext hard drive under the list.
Right click on it, and choose CHANGE DRIVE LETTER
Choose anything, but I recommand something higher than F.
the hdd enclose may be bad/faulty
try connecting the hard drive inside your computer doing away with the hdd enclosure
the light only means its getting power not a connection to hdd

The USB connection seams to be very sensitive try pushing the USB cable into the camera firmly and wiggling it. Once the mass storage device is recognized be careful not to move the plug. The connection can be very flaky. Good luck, Mike
