I recently got this 2005 montana sv6 from my grandoa and thedvd player was jamming up and not working ...Missing: movies
you were suppose to have the radio unlock code .if you don't have it a GM dealer will unlock it for you and tell you a code for it
this is all for antitheft system
abs not going to be the cause...possible passlock security system problem....does the security light flash rapidly when it wont start? it is common for the security system to act up on these vehicles
Being a Brit I don,t know the car but would suggest that your radio/CD might be security coded which works as a security device if someone steals it. There should be instructions somewhere in your glovebox manual telling you how to re-code it. The code would be supplied with the radio and noted somewhere. If not the Pontiac dealer may be able to help you if you quote him your VIN. Some "mechanics" foolishly write the code on the radio unit label - it's stupid but you could try there first!
Did you ever get this issue resolved??? Sorry - I don't have a solution, however I own the same player & van - and even the install guy I brought it to is having a heck of a time figuring it out with this van!
