Default gateway phone does not appear to use programmed default gateway

By default ip address is 192.168.1.1
or
192.168.0.1

But if your ip is different and if in your router DHCP is enabled then you have to check your computer ip address with which your router is connect.
Go to start menu then type in run "ipconfig /all"
then check gateway ip it is your router ip.
Also you can check your ip wtih phone reciver connect your phone receiver to router with phone line jack.
Then press * so you can listen configuration.

Second did you buy the router new or used because a used router may not be at the default address 192.168.0.1 you expect. Assuming you can access the router with your computer and wireless card -- open a command window (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt) and type ipconfig and press enter. If you cannot connect using the wireless use a wired connection to the router ports to get the gateway address as indicated above using ipconfig. There may be multiple connections however we are looking for one with an IP Address and a Default Gateway probably like 192.168.?.? where the first question mark is the same and the last are different. Use the default gateway address to access your router instead of the default 192.168.0.1. If the password has been changed meaning the router logon fails for you with the default password, the manufacturers documentation may describe a reset process to return the router to factory default including the password to allow you access (note the gateway address will also revert to the manufacturers default requiring a reboot or ipconfig /reset and ipconfig /renew to reconnect the computer to the router after the change.
