Docugem g0816f gun safe. The battery seemed to die, yet with new batteries the code pad isn't working. The safe has the key pad and addition key. The electronics of safe are not working; How would i reset it?

Looking for information on resetting a Docugem safe - believe it is a PS200. We have changed the battery and now the programmed code is no longer working.

SOURCE: need to reset the electronic code to open the safe.

are you the manager user of the safe?if yes,you can reset a new code by yourself.

Hi,
First I would try the original numbers to see if you did change it. If the original numbers work then you need to start over. If they don't work then the new numbers you installed are there and you need to figure out what you punched in not what you meant to punch in.

without knowing the model the best i can doe is link you to you tube and some of the fixes there. i used this search term how to open a sentury safe key pad only batteries died. you may try other terms to get different videos on how to do it. good luck.

How do I open my Sentry Safe when the batteries have gone dead?

Some safes come with a key to open it with when this happens.key hole is cancelled under or near the keypad...not sure if yours is one of them.or there maybe a slot to plug in a battery pack .good luck..hope I have helped.

The wrong number was input and now we can't get into the safe, we don't have a key for it, and the batteries seem to be flat. What can we do? The safe is an electronic digital safe GX B0709

You don't know the combination code, and you don't have a key? Or you know the right combo code, but the batteries are dead? If you have the right code, and the batteries are near-dead, try the jiggle suggestion...put the safe on you lap, put in the correct combo, and jiggle the safe while turning the latch. Might work.

Gun safe, can't open it.

on the key pad bottom edge right above the nob are 2 half moons - this is for touching a new 9 volt to the metal and power the unit to input your code and open it - then replace battery.

Press 159 - safe will beep for each number pressed on the key pad, Then press A or B, the green light will come on. Rotate the knob clockwise and pull the door open.
