So here's whats up, I was driving and hear a strange sound, it wasn't loud just a faint sound not sure what it was. Then I tried to give it gas and rps dropped in the low hundreds. I pulled over and it was running rough, could barely get it into first gear without it essentially seeming to die anytime I gave it gas. I cut it off and did a quick roadside check, which no conclusion. I attempted to restart the car, and after a few rough attempts it started and I crawled back home in first without pressing the gas pedal. The next day, the car wont start. I checked for fire to the sparkplugs, and no sparks. The car will try to start but just isn't getting spark. Before trying to start any further, you need to remove the timing belt cover and make sure the timing belt hasn't jumped or broken. That's the first place I'd look. Hope this helps
