Real basic owners manual is here: http://www.crateamps.com/pdf/manuals/CA6110DG_OM.pdf
Look at the chassis, or pull a part number off the original speaker to match speaker and back cross reference to the amp versions that used it. The OM is at least good enough with the block diagram to allow it to be serviced easily enough.
I'd love to help, but without the make amd model, there is little I can do. Please update this with that info.
Also, just in case the schematic isnot available, please list the circuit designations of the parts that are burnt. These are the numbers listed under or next to the parts on the circuit board.
Their may be a schematic on the inside of the amp.I don't remember if Crate puts one or not. And I have had several Crate amps. never needed repair except for tube replacement. If there is not one in side , go here and find what you need . http://www.crateamps.com/support/warranty/ Good luck DFD please rate me TK U
turn that ****** on and get a can of freeze spray. coming and going type issues is usually related to a failing electrolytic capacitor. there may also be a bad mosfet, rectifier, diode, etc. i would be suspect to caps. schematics probably only available thru crate and you have to pay a couple bucks, but trust me its worth the couple bucks spent and having it on its way than wasting hours online not getting anywhere. by the way i checked my sources and came up with nada. yostamplifier.com
