This sounds like the projection unit has a failure on 1 or more LCD screens inside the projection unit. this can only be repaired by replacing the projection unit part # LSXA0771-HB this part may no longer be available try a google search of that part #
You might start by cleaning the lenses & mirror(this may use a Mylar sheet rather than mirror, don't try to clean the mylar) then install a new lamp
part#: TY-LA1001 $70.00 http://www.tvpartsguy.com/servlet/the-11855/TV-Lamp-TY-dsh-LA1001-for/Detail
or $49.00 to $80.00 http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=ty-la1001
If that doesn't cure it you most likely need a new light engine/optic block which would make the repairs cost prohibitive even if you can locate the light engine.
SOURCE: my panasonic pt-52lcx66 it wont turn on what can i do myself
yes they do; They have glass fuses than have the thin wire running across on the inside. If the wire isn't running all the way across the fuse or is broken, then it is junk. If fuses is good, then power supply may be faulty which is quite common these days with newer electronics

SOURCE: where do i locate lamp in my panasonic pt 52lcx66
The left speaker grill comes off then the lamp door will be behind there. Mind you if the lamp in your TV still works and you are changing it. Make sure that you let the TV cool down for a minimum of an hour before handling the old lamp. Also your lamp part number is TY-LA1001. Please take a moment to rate my answer. Thanks...

SOURCE: changed bulb on panasonic PT-52LCX66-k and cant reset timer.
I can help you reset the lamp timer for your Panasonic PT-52LCX66
Projection HDTV.
The buttons used are the TV's volume down and the
remote's number 0.
Follow the steps in my Fixya Tip for the complete lamp timer reset procedure.
I hope that helps.
