SOURCE: Rear Speaker volume too low

Channel level output can be adjusted in the menu if you have the remote. Set the rear channel level volume higher and the fronts lower if need be, and then turn up the volume. Enjoy!

Your onkyo receiver and remote controller only decodes 4 digit codes so what you have to do is to call the manufacturer of the remote controller it self and ask for the hexa decimal codes for their remote. They should provide it to you coz they're the ones responsible on doing that.

SOURCE: new home theater setup- no signal at tv using onkyo tx=sr605

This might somewhat help. Today I went back .. I went HDMI out of the Cable box and DVD player into 2 of the TVs HDMI ins. The digital audio out from each, straight to the receiver and things are working ok. All speakers are working OK. Sound isnt as loud or crisp but unfortunately I found no other solution.

TV audio output vastly different for satellite feed versus DVD feed. Why?

It is possible there are separate sound level functions for the DVD player, the tv and the satellite box, try the different remotes for each by unlocking the volume control on the satellite remote until you get them close or use the device specific remote volume controls. I would also try and use HDMI if available for the DVD instead of composite. If the volume controls are different it will show on the tv, might also go through all audio settings for each device. Some devices are pre-amped or send out strong sound signals while others are line level outputs designed to be amped by the output device, in this case your tv I believe. The HDMI vs stereo audio that goes with composite may be the cause or it could be in the settings of the device. Worst case is to remember to drop volume before you switch back so you don't ruin speakers.

Vizio sound bar and bell 9242 satellite uhf remote, and LG t.v. I do not want to use the vizio remote but the Bell satellite 9242's remote to control volume and on/off function, so far the bell control

Try an other code. Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

With the bell dish we have the oblong dish can get 100% signal for satelite 91 and 100% on satelite 82 but not both at the same time?

Guest 10

With multiple satellite dishes, you will get a lower signal strength on mulitple satellites as opposed to individual satellites. The reason being when pointed at one satellite, you are pointed directly at that satellite. With multiple satellites, you are pointed in the general direction of the multiple satellites so the signal will not be as strong compared to pointing directly at the individual satellite. Normally, a signal strength 50 or above is sufficient. I hope this helps.

RCR311W Rmote will not change tv channels

It appears you need to program the satellite device code back into the remote. Has this worked for you before or just started this trouble out of the blue?
You can some times have the satellite providers install the remote or insert the code information for you [for free most of the time] otherwise you can contact the satellite provider directly for the discrete coding based upon your remote control.

Keep us informed on how things go for you. Thanks!
