2004 Ram 1500, AC Blows cold on drivers side, but warm on passenger side? Not sure what it could be, and if this part would be covered under the 70/70000 warranty, which i doubt since it is not a powertrain issue. Just seems odd for a truck that just hit 40k

    Checked other settings, and it seems the flap is the issue. Is this a tough fix? i can actually hear it trying to open, would it be underneath the floor boards?, it kind of makes a loud clunk as i switch between heat/cool

I would try other settings like heat and regular air to see if air is going to this vent. If it does, the flap may be stuck inside that directs the cold air when it is turned on. The vent is moved by a vacuum actuator.
If you have air on one side, that is a good sign. It may be low pressure, but if the air is cold, it is likely the vent stuck shut.

    Not under the floor boards, but it is behind the console (bottom half of dash) up above heater core in the black plastic venting. It really sucks dismantling everthing to get to it, but it is the only way.

Your system is either out of sync on the control, or the air temperature control blend door is not moving due a failure of the door or its actuator motor.

Air conditioning blows cold on drivers side but warm air on passengers side.
dodge has dual blend door actuators on the air box. you have to pull the dash board assembly out to access the passenger side door actuator. it calls for 5.8 hours to do this job. you also have to evacuate and recharge the ac system.

I have the same problem. Solve. The passenger side vents on my Dodge ram 2004 deisel blows warm and the driver's side vents blows cold.
Sounds like you have a bad blend door actuator, or a bad control unit. Need to have it checked to find out which it is.
