Purchased the radio from a friend. Cd player and everything worked in his car. I installed to my car now the cd is saying no disc after it reads. help!!!!
Probably bad disc or possibly you used wrong screws in side of unit that went in to far and are blocking cd to operate properly

Your problem is a common one. The spindle motor is going bad or is bad, and/or you need to clean the laser lens. The only way to fix this would be to take out the unit and hook it up to a test harness. If you do not have a test harness you will need to seek out an authorized repair depot to do this for you. good Luck Ps Please dont forget to rate this thread.

The laser eye need to be re-align or clean up. If you are technical incline, then open it up and clean the laser eye and turn the mounting allen wrench nuts up a bit. If not have someone who knows do it. 'Cause there are alot of things can pop out of place when you opened it. Goodluck.
