HDMI is an input to the TV not an output. You select the appropriate input e.g hdmi 1, hdmi 2 on the remote. There can be a return signal the other way but the cable has to support that. Try a different hdmi cable.

Have you verified that the HDMI cable from your cable or satellite receiver is plugged into HDMI-1? Many sets have several HDMI inputs and they usually are labeled. You might also try the input control of your TV to see if the signal is coming in thru another input. Lastly, have you tried another tv set with the same cable?

Supersonic television displays "no signal".
That's because there is no signal :>D

Unless you are using an outdoor aerial on the roof and the signal via a aerial cable, your signal is not provided by 'Channel Scan'. In most homes, your television comes from a Cable Box or a Satellite box. The signal from those is fed to the television via an HDMI cable. On your remote, find the Source Button and scroll though the HDMI socket inputs.

NO signal is either you have not connected the rear antenna cable (RF Mode) this will receive air signal. You should switch to AV or HDMI mode and connect the receiver.

"No signal" sign on TV screen using HDMI selector
it sounds like a refresh issue, double check you selector and make sure it fits the refresh of the tv. i had this once with a sharp where the tv was 120hz and the selector was 60 and it created a no signal and when it did come in it was jumpy. if you have a 120 tv then selector should be the same.

No signal from ps3 to lg tv via hdmi
if this is the first time you've hooked it up via HDMI then you have to go back to the old cables first. Hook those up to the old TV or the new one, then go to settings and switch to HDMI. It will give you 30 seconds to change the plugs again so you can view the HDMI. Then select ok. Hope this helps

Could be a sensitivity problem, have you tried to switch tv modes back and forth, sometimes if you do that it will save you from restarting the computer. I had a tv about 10 years ago that had a sensitivity issue, went to see about fixing it, unfortunately, the tv brand was no longer in the country and user service parts were not available.
