Im having issues with my tank overflowing

If the engine overheats from a thermostat
stuck closed or bad head gasket

Buy a new tank cap. Fill ur tank slower. Inspect the fill hose for akink or damage. And looknst the overflow vent line. Fuel caps keep air out they do need replacing once and a while. Ur take vents at the cap sounds like ur cap is not venting or ur return over flow line has issues try a new cap first. Then go deeper if issue still there chk the top of the tank where the gauge sending unit is. Etc etc.

Don't jump the gun and replace the head gaskets like the guy recommended...you need to have a technician look at it...can be a minor issue or something totally different. I had the problem with my stratus and paid tons of money to do the heads...never solved the issue and heads were done right. Its was blockage with in the coolant system and was discovered til my water pump went out.

sounds like the switching valve for the gas to draw out one tank first then the other tank is bad and needs replacing.this can cause gas to be pumped into the other tank causing it to overflow.

the tank coverter infront of fuel pump on frame is the problem.replace or rebuild.

check in the throat of the filler neck and see if the overflow tube is blocked small hole in the neck that allows overflow of gas to bleed down like the way your bathtub works when it gets to full check the passage if its clear or the hose from the neck to the tank

Possible problems; water pump, impellers may deteriorate and therefore have low circulation.. Clogged passages, and even the mixture of the coolant.

You probably have a defective fuel-tank selector valve. Its located on the left frame rail, halfway down. While the vehicle is running, tank"A" is pumping fuel to the engine, while tank "B" is getting the unneeded fuel that is returning from the engine. Thats why it is overflowing.

This is the same issues I'm having. Is there any answer to this?

This sounds like the gas tank vent pipe is obstructed.
