Okay, it sounds like you're using a standard auto attendant greeting setup.
Try this:
Feature 983
Password: 1020000 (or whatever you have recorded for the password)
Select AA
Select Greeting
Select Greeting again
Enter 1 (for Greeting 1)
You can hit Play to ensure that you are listening to the correct greeting. If not, select another greeting by enter the number 2 for greeting.
Once you have found the greeting that you would like to erase, simply press record and let it record one or two seconds of silence. The greeting will be gone. Press OK to accept the new greeting (silence) and exit the system.

We had some old greetings on the system and I want to delete (not replace) them. The guide does not address that.
Hi Karen,
Do you know if your system is using a plain greeting, or is it using a tree? One good way to tell is do you have different greetings set up for office hours and after office hours.
Hi, Megan. We are trying to use a plain greeting, but I think we have a holiday one recorded and a plain greeting. I would like to only have one greeting that is changed according to need. Thanks.
