Hi I have windows professional on my computer. I cant istall its driver, not even with istallion CD, and cant find on net. Please help me in finding driver

I am having the same problem.
It is the INF file that is missing, and i cannot find it
online.
when you plug in the player, it looks for the driver. the
driver file is the INF file.
The Samsung "software" only installs an
application that allows you to transfer music too and from the MP3 player, but
this only works If you have the MP3 recognized by the computer
It’s the same for charging the MP3 player.
The system only knows to charge it based on the INF file
and the firmware is pointless if the computer cannot recognize the device that you want to upgrade
Installing windows media player 10 did work.
the install file is on the Samsung CD, under \Utility\WMP10
I am sort of surprised this worked.
the computer recognizes the MP3 player after you install it.
so it must have some built in recognition within windows media player 10.
of course it would be helpful if samsung said this on its page.

I had the same problem, but this worked for me - download the Win Media Player 10 or above, install it and uninstall the mp3 player yp-k3 from system. Then diconnect the player yp-k3 from computer, connect it again and WMP 10 should recognize it.
Dont need any driver, jst need to install the Windows media player 10 or above, then will recognised by windows!!!

You can get hold of updated drivers and software from the samsung website/support page. The new firmware is well worth it as it gives you more options and allows you to customise the sound equaliser

I got a Samsung YP-K3 Mp3 player and my Pc won't reconize it, so I can download or up load any files to the player.
i could install the driver in my old CP. after that i changed my CP to be window xp v5, it cant install at all, why? plz help me.

I installed the Media Player 10 - made no difference - computer still says Ineed to install the driver - would love to throw it in ocean but don't wan to buy a new MP3.
