SOURCE: What is the oil-gas ratio and the bar oil for a Mc Culloch Mac130

You should be safe with a 32:1 mixture unless you are a logger. And any Bar Chain Oil should work fine.

Points gap setting on a on an Onan 6.5 generator?

CHECK BREAKER POINTS
burned, dress smooth with file or fine stone. Do not
use emery paper or emery cloth. Measure gap with
thickness gauge; gap points at .020-inch (0.51 mm).
Ignition breaker points, Figure 16, must be correctly
gapped. Crank engine to fully open breaker points
(1/4 turn after top center). Loosen locking screws (A)
and turn cam (B) tQ adjust. Tighten breaker points
and recheck gap.
Ignition points should break contact just as the 20-
degree timing mark aligns with the flywheel timing
mark. Final timing is corrected by properly shifting
the breaker point box on its mounting and using a
timing light. If specified timing cannot be obtained by
positioning the breaker box, make sure timing marks
on gears are aligned.

Need to find contact breaker points gap on super XL automatic chainsaw serial no 50832357 (old chainsaw)

Hi marie hourig...

Set your gap between .18 and .20...if you do not have a feeler gauge to get the clearance right, then you can use a paper match book cover...it is approximatly the same thickness as you need.

MY POINTS OPEN AT TDC. SHOULD THEY NOT CLOSE AT OR NEAR TDC? HOW DO I ADJUST THE TIMING?

Most contact breaker ignition systems, the points should just break before tdc, once you have set the correct breaker gap, you should slacken the screws securing the whloe back plate and rotate either way, the manufacturer of the engine should tell you how many degrees before tdc they should open, small engines normally have marks on the flywheel to tell you.

What's the oil/gas mix ratio on a Mac130.. and also what are the factory/normal settings on the high/low carb adjustments screws.

Run it at 25-1 with a good two stroke oil, base settings are 1 turn on the high and 1 1/4 on the low, you will need to fine tune from there.

No spark. how do i change points and condenser

Remove the flywheel to get at the parts. If the breaker cam is on the flywheel and there are no access holes to allow point adjustment, you will need a cam tool in order to set the point gap correctly. Most modern saws don't use points/condenser--they use a self-contained ignition module that fires the plug every rotation. If it doesn't work, replace the module! Hope this helps!
