If it is the idler pulley for the accessory belt, it would make the sound at all times the engine is running, not just under acceleration. I would look to the wheel bearing or the brakes on that corner of the vehicle.

it could be either --throttle body sticking open will cause constant acceleration when u lift off pedal-cableless accelerator [electric gas pedal ]if a sensor or electronic part shorts out can open throttle body causing acceleration- would need to have it diagnosed to find out which problem is correct
