Login to router

I cannot login to my router, it's a WBR 1310. I type in the default "adim" without a password and it goes back to the login screen. I would like to set up a password to log on to the wi-fi.

Leave the username blank, then enter "admin" as the password. You can also reset the router to factory defaults by pressing the reset button on the back (small hole, use paper clip) and then try again.

reseting your router should work, according to the manual the username must be left blank and the default password is admin. Make sure you fully press the reset button while the router is powered on and keep pressing the reset button for at least 30 seconds. Please try reseting the router again and let us know. Good Luck!

On another note, some routers have another method of reset which will bypass any problems.

    Try this

Unplug the power from the router
With the router powered off start pressing the reset button
Keep pressing the reset button while you power back on the router (do not release the reset button)
Mainting pressure on the reset button for at least 30 secs after you powered it back on
Let the router finish the restar process and try to login again.

192.168.0.1. and typing Admin does not work for me to change ssid on my d-link WBR-1310

If you already tried with username = admin password = blank "no password at all" or password = "password" then the only way to recover the router will be by doing a hard resset, (pressing the resset button in the back for 12 seconds) be careful you are going to set the router back to factory default and you will need to configure it again usually this is the only way to get the router back

Is there a way to set up my wbr 1310 without the installation cd

Yes you can - If you do not know the login and password -
You can reset the D-Link back to the factory defaults by - power off the D-Link, press and hold the RESET button on the back of the router, then power up the router. Hold the RESET button for 5 secs and release the RESET button or until the LEDs flash together.
Connect a LAN cable from the D-Link to the LAN port on your computer and open a browser. Enter the D-Link's configuration URL http://192.168.0.1
The default login = admin
The default PW = blank (just press Enter)
You can now configure the wireless settings, eg. SSID and encryption etc.

How can i reset a dlink-wbr 1310, because I'm trying to get the wireless on it but I just can't. I don't know if it's because the wireless signal is not on. Does anybody Know why?

To access the router config screen, use a browser type in the address bar 192.168.0.1 login is admin and the password is blank hit enter. search the wireless screen for the enable button.
Or you could reset back to default by (with the power on) stick a paperclip in the small hole by the power cord and hold it in for 10 to 15 seconds. the router will reboot back to default, and you can input your settings.
