SOURCE: xerox printer error code (04,025.46)

This is a print head position issue.

TRY FIRST (Solutions without parts):
1. Check that the wipe mechanism has homed. 2. Check the printhead position and verify that it has initialized properly / manually home the printhead and power cycle the printers power and check for the error to return. If not then the error was most likely due to non-process function (something out of sequence).
Part likely to be the cause:
GEARBOX AND MOTOR,PROCESS DRIVE - PL 4.0, Item 14.

SOURCE: XEROX 8550 DP ERROR Message 09,035,43; 10192

That is a cyan, ( blue) ink stick fault. What is happening is that the cyan ink sticks are not advancing down the ink loader properly.
Open the area where you load the ink and you probably have a cracked, twisted or otherwise stuck ink stick, the code you are reporting specifically refers to the cyan sticks. If you have to remove them, take a screw, a drywall screw is best, and twist it into the sticks and slide it back and out, then replace them or add new ones. But thats your problem.

SOURCE: Xerox Phaser 8560 - error code 09 037 45 108564

Hi there

That's a ink loader error, due to the 8200 ink stick; to fix it:

- Power down the printer.
- Hold the back button and the info button at the same time, without letting go, power up the printer.
- Keep holding down the buttons until the XEROX logo comes fully to the center of the screen, keep holding for 2 more seconds, then let go. I'll take about a minute or two for the Diagnostic screen to come up, the display will turn blank and black.
- When the Diagnostic screen comes up go to down to the Function or Exercise option, there will be an option that says "clear ISC faults" it'll ask you to press OK to confirm, after you do then you will exit Diagnostics and the printer will reboot.
It should be fine until it happens again. Until all the 8200 ink is gone you will probably be doing this a few more times. Also make sure the 8200 ink is not jammed inside the ink loader, if it is then you have to un-jam it some how.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

You are going to need service. It is memory on the main board that is giving you the error. Unfortunately it probably won't be cheap. Either the RAM or the motherboard has gone bad, but there is no way to tell until you have it checked. I have seen several people try this and then try that for weeks, then finally have to break down and get it serviced. Save your self the headache and have a trained professional solve your problem.

Display shows RAM ERROR on Xerox Phaser 8860

I would first try to inspect and possibly replace the ram. On the back of the machine there are two thumb screws holding on a metal plate. Remove the two screws to access the ram. You can remove the ram and try the second ram slot if it is unused. (check the video at 2:45 to see what this looks like) If after replacing the ram and trying both ram slots the error continues you most likely need to replace the Electronics module (MFP part# 084K36560, non-mfp part# 084K36550). Here is a video that shows you how to replace that part. (video is of a 8500 non-mfp version so it is a little different but still similar). Good luck, and thanks for using FixYa!
