check in phone settings to ensure ring is set to headphone, I think a lot of phones now can cut this off so you don't suddenly get a loud tone in your ear but speak will work.

First, you should keep away from the T-160 tapes as they are thinner and more likely to jam. The T-120 or less sizes are better. Next, use high quality name brand tape - not the off-brands found in the bargain bin.

Do the regular maintenance. All tape is "dirty" (including cassette, 8 track, reel to reel, etc.) and will deposit dirt on the tape heads and "transport" mechanism. Transport consists of capstan and pinch rollers that push / pull the tape in and out of the housing. when dirty, they slip and interfere with the "pick up" of a quality picture from the tape. Use of a quality wet cleaning system at regular intervals (or whenever picture quality deteriorates or tapes jam) is highly recommended. Here are some googled results for wet VHS cleaning systems:

I see that your are inquiring if this scanner is supoprted on Windows 8. This scanner is actually not supported nor does it have drivers available for Windows 8. Is your scanner p/n 85-0101-100 (located on bottom of scanner)? If so, in theory it may work using the Windows 7 driver on our website, but ther is no guarantee.

If you haven't got the user manual you should be able to get one free on the Panasonic website if that helps.

The problem is with the ink cartridge. remove the ink cartridge then insert it again... if this does not work, replace you ink cartridge. hope this help. Good day!

This looks like a hardware fault. I hope (by now) that you have got an RMA and had it replaced.

Enter SM Press MUTE button once on remote control then press mute again and hold while holding press menu on tv set.
