How to re-pair my iPhone having pressed forget this device

make sure your phone is up to date, reset all settings but first back up your phone, turn bluetooth off than press home and power button at the same time till apple logo comes on and lastly get your phone to "forget the device" hope these help.

forget the headset
turn bluetooth off
turn the headset device off
reboot phone.
try again

same to all BT devices
first turn the Device ON and make sure it's ON searching for the Iphone to pair with.
secondly IPhone >> Go into settings >> bluetooth
and search for your device (uniden)
press on the device to pair with and enter the pass code if you were asked to do so
wait few seconds till the devices negotiate and setup the session and thats it Your Done !

Go into the Bluetooth settings of your device and remove the headphones (forget them)

Power on headphones; press vol + & vol - to enter pairing mode (alternating red-green lights flashing); press and hold vol + & vol - for 8 - 10 seconds until the light flashed orange; the headphones are now reset to factory defaults; pair the headphones to your device.

I have to do this every time I install an IOS update on my iPhone.

First thing you need to do is to go into your Bluetooth settings and make sure that your phone is set up to pair with a device. Next, make sure that the device your are pairing to your iPhone, is in pairing mode. After both of these steps are complete, the phone should recognize the device and you can complete the pairing process. Hope this helps!

remove other paired devices on your device, may be the device has crossed the limit of phones it can connect.
start pairing fresh on both devices- phone and bluetooth device.,

If you have the headset paired w/ another device, you have to "forget" it on that device and then try to pair w/ the iPad.
I was having the same issue w/ new iPhone 4, but this solved it for me. It is a bit annoying to have to forget and unpair every time you want to switch devices, but oh well.

Remove the device from the computer, and remove the computer from the phone, then start over and try to pair again

The device does not have its own integrated text to speech or caller ID, auto answer may have been removed by apple in a firmware update. I would try a complete reset repair, forgetting the paired device from the iphone. Power cycling the iphone, then resetting the V1 by pressing the vol -/+ and MFB all at the exact same time. Ensure the buttons are NOT held simply clicked all at once like a mouse to a computer, when you get a consistent rapid flash the device has been reset and will go automatically into pair mode. Then go back to settings/general/bluetooth on the Iphone and repair the device to see if that fixes the issue.
