Ead the needle raise the presser ft and stomp the power foot down, now check the bubble when the machine is running full tilt. when the machine is running slow you will not see the oil flow. also ck the screen on the oil uptake under machine for dirt.

How to oil juki MO 2512

There is a clear oil gunge cap on top of the machine. It probably is clear and has a small red line on it. Grab hold of it (if it hasn't been oiled in a while, you may have to use pliers to twist it counter clock wise. If you do, put a small scrap of material between the plastic cap and the pliers so that you don't make rough places on your cap.). Once you have taken the cap all the way off, fill it with sewing machine oil (not car oil, not WD-40, etc.)

When you are pouring it in, be slow. The actual oil gauge is on the right lower front. Pour only enough oil to be between the two lines on your gauge window. If you over fill, it will bubble out the bottom, run out the bottom of the machine and go all over your foot pedal etc .Irritating but not a crisis.

Be sure to put your cap back on securely before you try to run it or you will be cleaning up all around your machine and you may get a shower also.

Once your machine has oil, run it fast every so often and the oil should bubble up in that top cap as you sew. If it doesn't, you may need a new oil pump.

Good Luck! :)

How do you clean an old 1951 singer sewing machine

Using sewing machine oil only, put a little drop on every point that there is friction, at each end of each shaft. Look at the top, the end, and underneath. Turn the hand wheel and watch for movement. The less movement there is, the more that point will need oil. Also, the hook race (where the piece the bobbin case goes).

Why is there no oil movement in bubble on top of machine?

use lilly white oil and oil flow will not show unless the machine has lots of rpms. tilt machine away from you and ck to see if the oil take up screen is clogged with thread debris. use should always oil hook with lits spray oil. u can take the two rubber knobs off the left side of machine and spray a little in each. oil will not drip out because u have a gasket at bottom.

I have a Consew CN2230R , DO I NEED TO ADD OIL TO TOP OF MACHINE WHERE THE BUBBLE IS?

Here's some info for you, looks like your machine should have an oil pan and be self oiling.

My manual for the White sewing machine Model 1780

There should be two screws on the top of the machine. Those need to come off first. Most
Whites have a top that comes off in that way. On the hand wheel side there is usually one or two screws to remove that metal piece (below the hand wheel). Then the base should come off just by removing those screws on the bottom. As far as oiling, lubricate any point where two pieces come together and there is movement except the belt area.

No movement of oil in top eye

Welcome to FixYa. Without knowing when you oiled the machine, I'm not sure whether you have a problem. Self-oiling machines wick the oil from the will in a controlled manner, so the oil should not need to be replaced often. Your manual should tell you how often the machine needs oil. In case you don't have a manual, I'm including a link to a site from which you can purchase one:
http://www.sewingmanuals.net/juki-model-ddl5554-sewing-machine-ma.html

I hope this helps. If you can take a moment to rate my answer, you will help me become a better expert.

Good luck, and feel free to comment if you have additional questions or would like a referral to another expert. Ginny
