What is the correct code for URC-200 Remote Control to operate the Dish ViP722DVR?

What is the correct device code to use when programming a URC-200 Universal Remote to operate a Dish ViP722DVR? Manual says to use 122, it does not work. Then tried using the UP option for next code search and did not find any code that would work. Remote is working fine for TV and Audio system.

The codes are listed on the insert that came with the remote. You need that sheet with all of the manufactures codes to make the adjustment. Try every code they list and make certain the TV or Box is energized at the time. Check the Remote batteries to see if they are in correctly.

SOURCE: Cannot program Dish Universal Remote for Emerson TV

This worked for me. I had to scan down quite a few times but eventually my tv turned off and I set the code with the # button. It may work for you too and save you some money on a UR.

http://www.satellite-tv-planet.com/DishNetworkRemoteControlProgramming.htm
Scan For Device Codes If the code for the device you are programming is not listed in the user manual or on this site, try these steps to scan the remote controls memory for device codes.

1) Turn the power on the device on

2) Select and hold the mode button for which you are programming, such as the TV button, on the remote until you see all the lights of the mode buttons flash. Once you let go, that mode button that you chose should now be blinking. When using the Aux mode button only use the number pad to enter 0 for a second TV, 1 for a second VCR/DVD, 2 for a amplifier, tuner, or cable box. Then press the STAR (*) button.

3) Press the power button on the Dish Network remote control.

4) Repeatedly press the UP or DOWN button on the remote to scan for the correct code (do this slowly so you do not skip over the right code for your device). When the correct code is reached the device will turn off.

5) Press the POUND (#) button to store the code in the Dish Network remote.

6) Press the power button to turn the device back on and try using other buttons on the remote to make sure that they also work. Sometimes the power button will work while others may not.

Program sony remote to operate dish vip722

The Sony RM-YD029 Remote control will work with the Dish Network VIP722 DVR HD Satellite Receiver, but the Dish Network VIP722's Primary remote address must be set to 1.

The procedure below will allow Sony RM-YD029 remote control to operate Dish VIP722.

Using the Dish Network Remote Control -
1. Press menu 2 times to get to system info page
2. In the system info page the primary remote address is in a white box (bubble) followed by a Green TV (1)symbol that says IR and indicates you the channel your remote control one is configured. The Sony RM-YD029 will work when this primary remote address number (in the white box) is set to 1.

If the Primary Remote Address of your VIP722 Remote control 1 is not set to channel 1, here is how to change it:

1. While displaying the system info page, press and hold the SAT button on your dish network remote until all other modes are flashing, about 3 seconds.
2. then press the '1' button on the numeric pad of your dish remote
3. then press the '#' button on the numeric pad of the dish remote
4. then press the 'record' button (red dot button - stores setting)
5. At this point you should see a number 1 in front of the primary remote address on the dish system info page

Ensure you enter the corresponding IR code into your Sony remote control per the instructions in the manual or Sony's web site. My 722 works with Sony IR code - 01775.

Urc3220

I can help you with your URC-3220 Universal Remote Control issues.

I do not see a listing for Haier TVs in the One For All URC-3220 Code List.

But don't give up; many manufacturer's re-use others' control codes. Therefore, I recommend using the One For All URC-3220 Code Search feature to find the compatible codes to control your device.

I hope that helps.
