Water leaking can be poor plumbing or fault in the inlet hose connection. You are the first observer and so your view on the leak area is important as the leak can be from the hose, from the inlet, the hose or the washer unit.
Based on this the water leak can be plugged, tighten the hose clips, check the inlet filter or check the washer's feed line.
If you have a leak. You have to find out where it is coming from. Dripping water from the bottom of tank can be coming from a number of different places and at different times thru out the cycle. The rinse cycle or wash cycle or all the time.
The first place to check is the pump. It will leak during the wash cycle. Especially from the top gasket. This one commonly goes out.
The pump motor shaft seal will leak all the time but will drip from motor, not the tank area. You want to fix this before it ruins your motor bearings or motor.
But since you have a corner machine, the first thing to check is the rear door panel. This is were your door would be if you had a straight thru machine instead of a corner machine. It has teflon guides just like your actual doors and they do leak at times or all the time if the guides are
not sealing. IF food particles accumilate at the bottom of that panel it blocks the water from running back into machine and instead, onto your floor from the bottom of tank areas. This is anther common leak.
The teflon guides should be replaced if they have cracks in them or are brittle and flaking apart. Sometimes they slide down and can be push back up from inside the machine. In either case, you will need to clean all the crud from that back panel edge. Usually thats all I do to fix that leak is just clean it up and push those guides out to outside edge with the tip of my screwdriver to tighten the seal between them and the channel.
HI. the door seal has been compromised. it could be simply farad or slightly propped open by some sort of debris as well. check the door seal for faults. replace if faults are found.
Also, make sure the door isn't mis-aligned. this will happen over time during heavy usage. re align the door if necessary.
It may have leaked some water on one of the electrical parts and made the smell. Leak could have been from a dirty gasket, so check the gasket and clean it up with just a few wet paper towels.
It could also have been a solenoid that failed and overheated, but since it went through the cycle it sounds like maybe it's okay.
If it is an electrical part, then they are not too hard to get. There are several stores online and brick and mortar that will help out.
Is it a wire or hose?If you take the bottom front cover off the dishwasher do you see a booster or square water heater to the left? Can you be a little more specific?
Water is not to top sensor in alotted time.
Top sensor is in right rear corner, and is the upper of the two. Check the connector to the probe on the outside at the back. (sometimes gets wet fro vacuum breaker leaking when dirty or low flow pressure. Machine needs 20 psi flow rate
you must change the gasket between bottom flange and machines underside and apply Hobart mastic to each bolts, not expensive but may require some plumbing dismanteling
hobart hd 20 get ml# to the unit and repost will look to get #
