Sheet feeder wheel marks on both sides of A4 photo prints

Just bought a Kodak ESP 5 today. When I printed a full A4 photo print, the image is printed with an indentation line down the left and right hand side of the page. These lines are approx 1 inch in from either side. The paper used was Kodak A4 180gm photo. Now if the weight of the paper is increased, then this indentation will be more visible to the naked eye.

I am going to go and change over to a canon as they are tried and tested. Canon might be more expensive but trust me, they are worth it

Black ink is not dispensing right

Clean the print head then print a demo sheet.

  1. Verify that inkjet paper is loaded in the paper trays.
  2. On your desktop, start the KODAK All-in-One Home Center, then select the Help [?] icon.
  3. From the Help menu, select Maintenance, then select Print head Cleaning. The On/Off light flashes green during the cleaning procedure.
  4. When the On/Off light glows a steady green, press Photo and Copy simultaneously to print a demo sheet.

If the Demo print is bad- IE: no black, blurry print etc., then you may need to replace the print head:

Can my esp5 all in one printer ,print both sides of a4 paper. if so how do you do it, ? Mak

Mak,the printer does not have the duplexer to print on two sides of paper, you need to manually flip the paper in order to get it to print on both sides.First of all give command and get the print out on a sheet.Place that sheet again the other side facing down on the bottom tray and give print command. You will get two-sided prints.

Print Photos This idea may seem like a no brainer, but I am not justtalking about printing out images from the web. I am not even talking aboutprinting out a photo from your family vacation. What I am talking about isusing your printer to print photos that look like you just had them developedprofessionally. With some high quality glossy photo paper, photo quality inkcartridges and a bit of editing skills, you can print all of your favoritephotos with ease without needing any professional help. And the beauty of itis, most people use digital cameras these days rather than traditional 35 mmfilm, so the transfer is easy. You can even plug your camera directly into someprinter models and print photos right off of the camera.

Cannot fill a3 sheet

Have you set up the page as A3? If so, should be ok if you set the printer paper size to A3. If you set up the page on A4 you will need to tell the the printer to 'scale to A3' and it's best to say you want to preview before printing

Esp 5 printer will not print color photos

Normal 0 Could have a corrupt driver.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud
