Drum does not fill model #XQG50-11

I have a model #XQG50-11. The water runs right out the drain and barely any moisture to clothes. Cycles do not advance, I am assuming waiting on drum to fill. The water does not leak onto floor, but runs right out drain hose.

SOURCE: Tricity Bendix AW1400W front load. Water leaks

Ether the washer is over filling or has warn out the seals. If it has been abused (overloaded) it needs serious work. other wise the sensor may be stuck. Try 1/2 cup of vinegar with a load and see if that cleans the sensor travel area past the drum but inside the tub. This is a common problem for an old machine. Best leak is on the door and you may be able to tighten the screws but be careful it could mis aligne it so tighten a small amount and test by closeing the door. Do this at least twice before turning the screws hard.

SOURCE: Intermittent water on floor

Check the inlet valve hoses, even if inlet is at the back, the water may drip down and flow on the front part on the machine. There you also have the PUMP, a faulty pump may leak intermittently.
Here you get all diagrams and parts for your appliance.

SOURCE: Maytag stack unit Model LSE7806ACE leaks

It is most likely the tub seal. Take the two phillips head screws out of the front cover located low on the cover lift forward and remove. Set the machine two low level and fill with water only no soap or clothes when unit starts agitating look at the bottom center of the clothes tub if water is leaking here then you will need to replace the tub seal and tub bearing assembly.

Washing Machine Problems and Repairs

Washing Machine Problems & Repairs If your clothes washer needs repair, you can begin your troubleshooting here A washing machine is basically a big tub that repeatedly fills with water and then drains, spins to wring clothes dry, and has a device for stirring things up-- either an agitator in the middle of a top-load machine or a rolling drum in the case of a front-loader. The four cycles that every washer performs are fill, wash, drain, and spin.
Though there are a number of problems that you can fix quite simply, washing machines have a variety of devices and controls that, when they go wrong, are better left in the hands of an appliance repairperson.
Some problems that commonly occur with a clothes washer are that it doesn't agitate; doesn't drain; doesn't run; shakes, vibrates, or moves; doesn't spin; the water temperature is wrong; or leaks.
If your washer doesn't run, be sure it's plugged in and that the receptacle works (the circuit hasn't overloaded). Before working on the washing machine, be sure to unplug it.
If it doesn't fill, the water inlet screens may be blocked. Clean or replace them. (Check your owner's manual for the location of the screens; they're often located at one end of the supply hoses, or you may have to remove a panel to access them.) Other reasons for not filling may be that either the timer or temperature selector is broken--both of these are repairs for an appliance repairperson.

If your washer doesn't spin, check to see if the clothes have jammed or are unbalanced in the drum before calling a repairperson. Unbalanced clothes will also cause a washer to shudder or “walk.” If straightening out the load doesn't stop the washer from shaking, look at the feet underneath and be sure they are properly adjusted to keep the washer sitting level on the floor (you just turn them to move them up or down).
To prevent problems, follow good maintenance procedures. Use the right amount of detergent for your washer and your water hardness, make sure the machine is level, and don't overload it for the cycle chosen.
Because washing machine hoses are under constant pressure, check periodically for wear because they can flood your home if they burst when you're away. You can prevent this by installing lever-type shutoff valves (shown top right). With these, you can easily turn off the levers for both hot and cold water between wash days.

I have an LG Tromm Front Loader. Recently it has been running full cycles, but after completely draining, it begins to (VERY SLOWLY) fill up with water. For example, I run a load in the morning and by late...

If the drain hose has to rise very high then it is water left in the hose that is coming back in through the one way valve on the pump. If that is not the case, it is the inlet valve that has a bad seat on it and needs replaced.

My kenmore elite calypso washer won't fill up enough to get clothes completely wet.

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

Water fills drum (top loader) even when off

Your problem is a jammed water solenoid, If you take the top off the machine it is possible to remove and either strip it down to see if it is dirty or replace it. your washer hose usually connects directly to it.

Water drips out of front door

There does obviously need to be water in the drum to wash or rinse the clothes, however it may be the water level is now higher than normal , check for any blockages and check any drain pump filter. If all o.k. it may be the door seal is leaking .If under g/tee call maytag for repair

Kenmore Washer Won't Drain

yes, check the drain, could be clogged, or check the water pump assembly as well, the clothe could be stuck in the impeller.

the burning smell could be coming from a separate electric water pump and it can not turn that is why it is burning already.
