Hot water stream when tub fills & how full tub gets super wash

I just had a new Estate Washer delivered. The hot water flow into the tub seems like a trickle compared to the cold water when it is filling. The screen in the hot water line is clear.

Also after I fill the tub with clothes and turn the water on it seems like the tub does not get enough water in it on super wash to handle the clothing I put in the washer.

The sales person said fill the washer with dry clothes and then turn the water on.

There should be a knob connected to your water lines that come from the wall, turn the hot to the left.

I can't get the cold water to fill the tub/rinse. the hot works.

Your problem is either a clogged COLD fill valve or a bad water fill valve. Turn the water off. Remove the COLD hose from the WASHER. Check the filter screen inside the valve for sediment. If you find sediment, remove the screen and clean it. Replace the screen and turn the water back on. If you do not find sediment on the screen, replace the water valve.

Maytag Washer (approx. 7 years old) has slow stream when filling

Follow the two inlet hoses from the back of your machine. They should each end at a valve (one for hot and one for cold). Make sure that these valves are all the way counter-clockwise and that the hoses are not kinked or pinched.

Kenmore washing machine 80 series

check for kinks in the pipe or restrictions to the flow in the pipes before it gets to the washer, if all is ok then check the filter on the outside of the water connector on the machine for dirt

if you confirm all is clear and the flow of water is not the problem before the machine, replace the cold water solenoid
