If you have up your SIM in a Vodafone store, it'll already be activated for you. You can just insert it into the mobile phone and start using it.
If you ordered a free SIM online, you'll need to call 17298 free from your Vodafone mobile to activate it.
Note: Before activating (registering) a Vodafone SIM card, make sure that the mobile phone is locked to Vodafone network or free from network restriction. If it is locked to any other network, you need to unlock it in prior. You can unlock a mobile phone safer and easier using unlock code. If your mobile phone is a Blackberry model, You can visit UnBBLock.Com to get the unlock code. If your mobile phone is from any other model, visit Mobile-Unlocker.com to get the unlock code. Good luck.

I just want to do simswap but i cant remmember everything about the lost simcard

Yes it is important that you remember certain things about the Sim card to pass the security check...If not then people would Simswap anyone's number randomly. So for all our protection, you need to pass the questions before a simswap is done. Best case scenario is to forget about the old sim and number, and start fresh with a new sim and cell number. Then retrieve your contacts from your email account and there you go.

Thank you

What is my puk

The PUK code is unique to your SIM card, so you can only get this from your mobile network. Sometimes they will give you this when you first get the SIM card, but not all networks do this. If you cannot find it, give your mobile network a call and they will be able to give you the PUK code after you have answered some security questions.
To make things a bit easier for you, here are the contact details for most major networks:

How do I unlock my phone when its on puk code and I don't have the password?

Mobile PUK codes - how do I find my PUK code?
If you have a PIN number on your SIM card as an extra security measure, you'll need to type the PIN number in each time you turn on your phone. If you do this wrong 3 times, the SIM card will be locked and you will be unable to use the phone. In this situation, you will need your PUK code to unlock the SIM.
WHAT IS A PUK CODE?
These codes have been around quite a long time actually and PUK stands for 'PIN Unlock Key'. It's a unique code that is linked to your specific SIM card and is usually 8 digits long. Some phones may ask for a PUC code instead. This stands for 'PIN Unlock Code' and is exactly the same thing as a PUK Code.

WHAT DO I DO WITH THE PUK CODE?
Once you have got the PUK code from your network, you will need to enter it into your phone. A notification will usually pop up, prompting you to enter the PUK code as soon as you turn your mobile on, so just follow the instructions onscreen to proceed.
As soon as your phone is unlocked, you may be asked to enter a new SIM PIN number, but this can be turned off in the settings menu of the phone once it's fully unlocked.
WARNING!
Do not try and guess your PUK code. If you enter it wrong 10 times, the SIM card will be permanently locked and you will need to get a new one from your network provider. There may be a charge for a new SIM card and you might be stuck without your phone for a couple of days while they send it out.

Whenever I insert my vodafone sims in my Sci i9+++ (dual sim). It says invalid Sim. When I showed it to a mobile repairing shop, they told that the imei number might be corrupted. Though the imei numbers (...

Hi vitain, go to or call vodafone some of the carriers have been blocking the use of the i9's as they all seem to share the same imei numbers. Go and register on the below website and head to FAQ part and search invalid sim there is detailed instructions on how to change the imei number (way to much to put here).
