I have 24" rca tv combo model#rledv2488a-c and have remote model# 1056bo3 need a code that will wor k the tv

It's also possible that your specific TV model may not be compatible with the Comcast remote.

unplug the TV/DVD for two minutes, and then plug it back in. Press the ON/OFF button and try again.

Goto http://manualfox.com/remote.htm and send them the model number of your TV and that one of your remote. They will come back with the codes you need.

remote codes are set by the manufacurer of the remote not the tv. if there are any others not listed in instructions for remote, the manufacturer of remote would have them. most combo unit are not able to be programmed into universal remotes due to the fact that there are alot of specialized function buttons on original remote. you can obtain a replacement remote thru toshiba

The problem is that it does not list the steps to program the remote after you have the correct code. Does anybody have this information?

You will have to try each code until you find the correct one for your model, but here are the codes : 102, 117, 194, 342.
