Hp 1350v all-in-one printer won't print

The print job is in the queue. It won't cancel. The printer itself won't delete. I have tried reinstalling using the disc. I have tried adding a new printer and deleting the old. The printer will print test pages after I have shut down the computer. What should I try next?

If you have a print job stuck go in and hit cancel job. If it stays even after a few min right click "my computer" on your desktop and hit "manage" go to "services and applications" click "services" find the print spooler option and right click it and stop the service. Once stoped right click it again and start it. This should clear anything stuck in print queue trying to delete

How to i clear the queue with jobs waiting to print when the printer says printing but is not printing

Try pressing cancel on the printer first. Then, open the print queue by opening the printers folder, and double-clicking the printer icon for your printer. Try to select the jobs there and cancel them. If that doesn't work, turn off the printer, and wait for the title bar of the print queue to say "use printer offline". If it doesn't change on the title bar of the queue, then select "use printer offline" from the file menu of the print queue. Then try to delete the print job. If this still doesn't work, leave the printer off and reboot the computer, then try to delete the print job again if it is still in the queue. If none of these work, remove and then reinstall the printer as a last resort.

Cancelled a job and it stays in queue

Cancel all the documents in the print queue, (just do it whether they are actually deleted or not), press "cancel" on button the printer and restart your system and also the printer. If possible, please leave the printer switched off for few minutes and don't forget to use the "Power" button to turn if off or on. This will help your printer to restart new print job, all the jobs on the print queue will be deleted/cleared. Good luck, Thanks for using FixYa.

I'm unable to delete a job from the queue. And therefore, I'm unable to print anything else. Any ideas of what to do? Thank you!

Open the print Queue, click the print job that is hanging and then from the menu, I believe under file, click pause. Once it is paused tried to delete the print job.

Printer will not cancel print job

Sounds like the printer spool is frozen.

Assuming you're using WinXP and logged in as an administrator (or with admin permissions)

START
Control Panel
Administrative Tools
Services

Locate the "Print Spooler"
Right click on this and choose "restart"

This will restart the print queue and will probably try to print the job again or delete it properly. If it tries to restart, just right click on the printer job and choose cancel again..

You may need to repeat but that should at least get you back up and running with other print jobs again.
