SOURCE: True Refrigeration GDM-26 Compressor problem?
More than likely you need a new compressor. It sounds like it's trying to start and then trips on it's overload or capacitor may be out.

If any of your drinks are freezing you need to adjust your temp setting. The suggested setting is 5. changing the temp setting basically tells the refrigerator to stop cooling when the temp hits a low degree, and to start cooling when it hits a high degree. This keeps your drinks not to hot, not too cold, but just right. If this doesn't work I would change the cold control altogether, it might've went bad. If you have a few minutes, locate the condensor fan (bottom) and make sure it is periodically turning on and off like it should.

I have same problem was told condensing fan not working properly. Easy to see if this is the problem, take out guard in front of machine and put a fan blowing into it. I went to home depot and bought a tornado fan and it cools again. Now if I can only figure out if its the fan or whatever contros its speed. If anyone knows how to check please respond.
Simply turn the temperatue up a couple of points..If it is freezing stuff it is set too cold !
