Question about NorStar Meridian M7310 Phone
I need help enabling the caller ID on my Meridian Norstar M7310. I have read some of the solutions posted here but none of them work.
The I work for moved almost a year ago and the caller ID was working fine then. Since being at the new location, it has not worked. I've tried everything under the sun and I'm at my wits end.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
In system programming your station needs to set caller id to Y.
i am assuming the system accept caller id. Other stations are working.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
Here's a link to this great service

Your M7310 phone does not have caller ID. The phone system can have caller ID and there are a few different options you could have for phone system and caller ID packages. You should try to find out which Nortel phone system you have and possibly what type of Caller ID unit.
I suspect you cannot do what you are looking for because as I mentioned, the phone itself does not have caller ID and only displays what the phone system tells it to. It is more complicated for a caller ID system to store a list of previous calls when you have multiple lines and multiple phones. Would you want to see a list of every call that has come in, just the calls that rang at your station or just the calls that rang and you answered at your station.... BUT... this may be ansered in a user guide specific to your phone system or your caller ID interface.

I'm pretty sure CID is automatic on a CICS....IF you have a CID trunk card. You might want to post the part number on the face of the trunk and we'll see if it's the proper one.

Not too sure what type of manual you are looking for, but here is a useful link to have for a Norstar system information.

To set up call id you need to enter programming by pressing the feature key followed by **266344.When prompted to enter the password enter 266344.
The screen should say TERMINALS&SETS. The 4 top line/feature keys are now used for programming.
At the terminals&sets prompt, press the show key (top right arrow). The display should now ask for an extension number. Enter extension number you wish to program call log on. Press the show key (top right arrow)
Press the next key (bottom right arrow) 5 times. The display should say TELCO FEATURES.
Press the show key (top right arrow) 2 times. The display should say CALLED ID: N(or Y)Press the change key til it says Y.
press the release key.
that should do it providing you have caller id service though your local telco provider.
