I need to know if where the input button is on my Philips Plasma

You need a new main board. You can order one on ebay but make sure its the correct model/serial TV number on the back label of your TV.

Before replacing the capacitors check the video from this link.
The capacitors can be found here or radio shack might have them. The value should be 3300uF/25v 105 degrees radial if they fit in the space provided by design. Make sure to install them with the correct polarity.

This is know as the" Blue Haze" defect. A tech may try to lower the screen voltages for you. Realign Ve, 110volts to 100volts. Vset from 195volts to 188volts...and the Vs from 197volts to 190volts. This was an authorized fix early in 2007. But more importantly you will have to live with this, as replacing the plasma screen is very costly. You probably have a bad screen.....SORRY!!!!!!

The x-sus and y-sus panels have some fuses,check to find out wich panel is broken and replace.

The problem is you have to remove the back (lots of screws) and the board is expensive: Part number has changed and is: 996500042147---it retails for 305 dollars----I would not buy a used or repaired board if I were you--this is the problem with all plasma sets--they only sell boards--the ones for the Philips set are expensive.

Are you getting picture or sound at all? If not, you could have a very common power supply failure. If you get sound or picture, then you may have a faulty capacitor or resistor on one of the system boards

Take out power supply for about 1 min then start up again.. short term cure.. will come again
