I have a Janome 6260QC it shows an error code of two reversed brackets. what does that mean,

If the symbol looks like ] [, then this isn't generally an error message. The machine is in bobbin wind mode. Move the bobbin winder spindle to the left. If the spindle is all the way to the left, then you have a problem with the bobbin winding mechanism below the bobbin winder spindle slot. The sewing machine isn't correctly getting the message of where the spindle is.

The Janome 6260 Quilter's Companion manual is available from Janome. The current link is https://www.janome.com/siteassets/support/manuals/retired/computer/inst-book-6260qc.pdf . See page 11 (13 of the PDF).

I hope this helps.

I took out parts of bobbin to clean and when put them back the needle hits the metal of the bobbin case and i cant sew. it doesnt seem to be properly aligned.

Perhaps remove the bobbin case and check that you have put it back correctly. Check with the sewing machine manual to see how it is done correctly. Make sure that the top of the bobbin case is at the top of the bobbin case holder and make sure you change the needle as it will probably be dull or bent from hitting the metal of the bobbin case.

The casing that the bobbin sits in is out how do I put it back in. The Bobbin holder below the tension feet is out and so is the bobbin how do I set it back in with out undoing the two latches on the side...

put the bobbin in its case then pull some thread out and pass it thru the bobbin case slot and under the tension spring .. put the bobbin and case over the shaft that is in the main unit .. the open side of the case goes in first .. make sure the bobbin doesnt fall out .. rotate the bobbin case until its finger lines up with the notch in the main case .. the bobbin case should latch in place on the shaft notch .. place the top thread under and to the back of the pressure foot then turn the machine one turn .. that will loop the top thread around the bottom (bobbin) thread ... now use a card or screwdriver to push both threads from under the pressure foot toward the back of the machine ..

I HAVE A HUSQVARNA 415 SEWING MACHINE. I AM LOOKING FOR THE NAME OF THE PART THAT YOU PUT THE BOBBIN INTO. I ORDERED A BOBBIN HOLDER, BUT THAT IS NOT IT.

The bobbin fits into a bobbin case (holder), the bobbin case is what you take out to put a new bobbin in. The bobbin case fits into the hook (it has a spindle in the center) which you do not take out of the machine unless you are doing maintenance. If you just ordered a bobbin holder, it could be for another machine. you must get a case made for the machine, a generic one will not work.

Can't put back the bobbin case in a singer 7442, it get sotck

Put the bobbin into the case so the thread is feeding clock wise and through the guide on the case.

Lift the lever to hold the bobbin in place.

Insert the bobbin case into the race/shuttle, still holding the lever out.

Align the finger on the bobbin case with the opening in the race/shuttle.

You may have to turn the bobbin case a bit to the left or right for it to line up.

Once it clicks into place it should work without any further problems.

Bobbin Case

I'm having a similar problem today. I took out the bobbin case and when I went to put it back in, the whole system locks up. I've tired cleaning, changing needle taking the metal plate and piece that holds bobbin case out and put it all back in after cleaning. Nothing. My symptom is I can't get a complete stitch, the needle goes down, the whole deal acts like it will work and as soon as the arm of the bobbin case gets to 8 o' clock on the gears, It jams and won't hardly move. I cannot pull the bobbin case out easily after this. Perhaps there is someone out there that can help us!
