The message is, ''Check ADF/RADF. What does it mean? It also ''squeeles'' when you hit start. And it does not copy.
Help.

ADF = Auto Document Feeder (Usually on top)
RADF = Rear Auto Document Feeder, (On the back)
Something is stuck in one of these, a piece of paper, foam, paperclip, twist tie . . . it could be anything. Follow the squealing sound and check the paper feeder rollers.
Find what is in the way and remove it.
Cheers.
The adf is the feeder of the copy machine where you put your originals sheets to be copy the automatic feeder, if you hear the noise it might be that the pullers on the feeders are dirty or really old they start making sound so try opening the feeder and checking the little wheel

Thanks guys! I still was fiddling with the thing after I wrote you. I found a clear dial in the area the copies come out was turned to "locked". Turning it seemed to make it all work again. Thanks for ur advise, I will check the wheel in the ADF, that may be a problem also. Thanks again!
