Here are the steps they recommend in the users manual for a c55 error.



5.1.11 Optional communication related service call
[C55] ADF I/F error
[F11] ADF I/F error
(1) Check if the connector CN71 on the ADF/RADF board is disconnected.
(2) Check if the relay connector between the ADF/RADF board and the PFC board is disconnected.
(3) Check if the connector CN246 on the PFC board is disconnected.
(4) Check if the connector pins are disconnected and the harnesses are open circuited.
(5) Check if the conductor patterns on the ADF/RADF board and the MAIN board are short circuited
or open circuited.
(6) Replace the ADF/RADF board.
(7) Replace the MAIN board

This error message "Document in ADF" that you are getting means that you need to remove foreign object from the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). Kindly follow the procedure below in clearing document jams:

Document jams in the ADF (Document Tray)

1. First, press Stop/Reset.
2. If a multi-page document is loaded, remove any documents other than the jammed page from the ADF. 3. Then, open the Feeder Cover.
4. From under the roller to the Feeder Cover side, remove the jammed page.
5. If a document is not jammed, check the document feed area if there's foreign material. If there's any, carefully remove it.
6. Close the Feeder Cover.

NOTE:

• If documents remain in the ADF after pressing during scanning, [Document in ADF] will appear on the LCD. Press so that the remaining document is automatically fed out.

• When rescanning the document after clearing the error, rescan it from the first page.

Document jams in the ADF (inner side)

1. Press Stop/Reset.
2. If a multi-page document is loaded, remove any documents other than the jammed page from the ADF, then open the Feeder Cover.
3. Raise the paper release lever (A) then remove the jammed page from under the roller to the Feeder Cover side.
4. Open the Document Cover and pull out the document from the inner side.
5. Close the Document Cover.
6. Close the Feeder Cover.

Note: When rescanning the document after clearing the error, rescan it from the first page.

The little house light means your coolant level is low. Dangerously low. The squeeling sound with the battery light coming on means that either your alternator is about to or has already died or your alternator belt needs to be tightened or replaced.

Take it into Autozone or O'Reilys or NAPA and have them to a free diagnostic check for you to see if the batter and alternator are ok. We can proceed from there.

Most likely there is a sensor that is out of place. That is the most likely problem. If it is not out of position then it may have failed. But what is happening is when you insert the document into the feeder, the machine is detecting a paper already in the feeder.

The person that changed the oil should have resetted the light.

Just drive to an AutoZone store, ask for somebody to check your vehicle computer codes, once they check them up, ask them to reset the change oil soon light, they would do this at no charge. This is a free service they offered to all their customers.

u have to use RADF for both side copying

If the green light on the adf is blinking that means that there is a paper jam in the adf. I sure you know that the copier you are using is at least 10 - 15 years old. Has the adf worked recently? Are one of the adf hings broken? If so, line the adf straight on the top of the copy board glass. There is a magnet that needs to be closed to make the adf work. Try to see if there is any small piece of paper in the papeer path of the adf and use a can of air to blow out the sensors and get back to us.
