Whirlpool Home AppliancesQuestion: Display shows F20 or FH - Front-load washer. Answer. Image. or. Image. or. Image. This error code indicates a water supply problem. Are both the hot ...
bad inlet water valve --turn water supply off and watch to see if machine continues to fill with water --suggest removing inlet water lines from machine and inspect the strain screens on the machine for sediment build up if so clean
Saw in my local newspaper... Whirlpool won't tell you to maintain by unplugging the machine and removing the front bottom cover of washer (3 screws) ...you will see a valve cover in the center right in front of you....Get towels ready to soak up the water that will spill out when you open this. Remove it and clean the plastic filter and any debris you might see inside then put back together. It worked and wasn't hard to do but now I have other issues with the machine errors and such....I think I'll go back to the old washers minus the electronics.
sounds like a faulty water inlet valve, not seating properly after closing the valve.replacing the valve is the only solution to this problem, in the meantime you can turn off your water supply in between doing loads.
How do you remove the front panel?
