SOURCE: my watch band is ripted

I don't know this watch in particular, but I know there are two main types of bands. Coded and non-coded. The S120 uses non-coded. That means you can use possibly any band on the market. Bands I know are compatible: Sigma and Ciclosport. The Polar bands are sealed, so you can use them while swimming. That's not true of the other two I mentioned - but the upside is you can replace the battery yourself once it wears down. You can probably get a replacement band from Polar directly, or buy a cheap knockoff elsewhere.

How do I find the serial number on my Polar FT4 watch

Turn the watch over and look on the back of the watch near the wrist band. The serial number is the rather long set of numbers you will see there. You can't miss it. If you see what look like zeros or letter O's, they are zeros, not O's. I have the same watch, and that is your serial number.

Polar ft40 watch doesnt work. I have replaced the battery and nothing happens.

This heart rate monitor has a generic flaw with the sensor. The touch sensor fails after a few months of use. It is not a battery issue. Return to where you purchased it. Buy another brand. All of the drug stores carry this watch which has an abnormal return rate. The sensor fails after a few months while the watch function is fine. Seems like planned obsolescence.

How do you put the back, back onto this fs1? The band keeps getting in the way! Back came off easily enough, popped off after unscrewed. Band is still on watch, have tried to slide back into grooves but...

You have to remove band in order to fit caseback back onto the watch. Insert pocket knife blade between band and case lug and pry inwards. This motion should release the band. It will be a lot more difficult to fit the band back on and you will probably need to buy springbar tool. Rate me plz.

Polar fs2c battery replacement

Many people replace their own batteries but some of them have problems with replacing the backs and finding (for some unknown reason) the watch no longer works!

I advise you to take your watch to your nearest authorized dealer and ask them to do it for you.

You can get into difficulty replacing batteries and it is not worth the risk for the small cost saving in doing it yourself.

New battery needed and fitted to a Polar heart rate monitor

This is really easy to do yourself. Get a CR1632 battery, unscrew the four screws on the back (dont tip the watch as there is a small spring in the watch), unclip the metal band holding in the old battery noting the way 'round the battery is in (minus side up), pop in new battery and push clip back down, when re-fitting the back make sure the spring mentioned earlier lines up with the white sticker with a hole in it on the inside of the watch back, screw down the back. After you have re done all your settings you may need to re-aquaint the watch with the strap, to do this put on the watch and strap, set the heart monitoring going, bring the watch up close to the 'Polar' logo on the chest strap until the time is displayed, should now be all set up.

AXN 300 Watch

Here is the link to the user manual for your watch; http://www.polarusa.com/manuals/AXN300.pdf Check page 9 - you have to re-enter these basic settings after removing the battery, this may clear the error message although i was unable to confirm this from the manual. contact polar on; http://www.polarusa.com/default.asp and you can find a service centre who can check your watch, all the necessary link software downloads etc. Hope this helps :)
